      Mr. Fay, due to the additional burden of claims and Labor Relations unwillingness to compensate my lost earnings for attending meetings. I want to forewarn you that in the future I may have to reschedule meetings or investigations to off-hours or possibly weekends.

     This action has to be done to minimize the impact of lost earnings and dealing with the Hours of Service. With the Burlington Northern Santa Fe being a seven-day, twenty-four hour operation I do not foresee any problems.

     I want to thank you in advance for your consideration and cooperation in this matter. I know that you as an administrator understand how a budget cut can cause some discomfort.
